Another interview and another Spanish collector, this time is Fada Ares . MY DEAR PEZ was chatting with her and we talked about collections and PEZ world.

Introduce yourself and tell us when you started collecting?
My name is Lola (a.k.a. Fairy or Fada Ares), I'm from Coruña.

Your first PEZ was...
My first PEZ was one from Ariel that I bought randomly at Primark in my city in 2019.

How many PEZ do you have in your collection?
I've never counted them, but I'm sure I have close to 100 and most of them are Disney. Is your collection just PEZ dispensers or the entire universe of this brand?
Dispensers only, although I have some POP PEZ (3 or 4) and a t-shirt I bought at C&A last year in shades of blue.

Your favorite PEZ is...
Hmmmm... I have two favorites and I don't know which I like better: Marie from the Ariatocats or Winnie the Pooh. I love both equally.

Do you have a maximum value to give for a PEZ? And what's the most you've paid for a PEZ for your collection?
The most I paid was €20 for an XL of Winnie the Pooh in a purchase I made from a pezmania member on wallapop.

Where do you buy your PEZ?
In online or neighborhood stores. Online second-hand I buy on the websites Vinted or wallapop and for limited editions I usually use Jon's store, Caja del Cliques. It is a highly recommended site for collectors.

If you were the owner of PEZ which/which ones would you like to be able to create that don't exist yet?
One from The Witcher or a new Captain America XL, I urgently need one.

Many PEZ collectors collect other things. Do you collect anything else?
Books of The Great Gatsby in several languages (I already have them in Spanish, French, English, German, Catalan, Portuguese and Hindi) or Captain America Funko Pop (of which I only have the ones worth €250 or more).

And finally, can you give some advice to anyone who wants to get started in this world of PEZ?
Start collecting the ones you really like or and grow because otherwise it will be chaos to organize everything and have space to organize them all. And of course having the collection on display very beautiful. Joining groups dedicated to PEZ also helps a lot in our collections and some of these groups are even highly recommended.

Eu nunca os contei, mas de certeza que devo ter perto de 100 e a maior parte deles são Disney. A tua colecção é apenas os dispensadores PEZ ou todo o universo desta marca?
Apenas dispensadores, embora eu tenha alguns POP PEZ (3 ou 4) e uma t-shirt que comprei na C&A no ano passado em tons de azul.

O teu PEZ favorito é...
Hummm... Tenho dois preferidos e não sei qual gosto mais: a Marie dos Ariatocats ou o Winnie the Pooh. Adoro igualmente os dois.

Tens um valor máximo para dar por um PEZ? E qual foi o máximo que já pagaste por um PEZ para a tua coleção?
O máximo que paguei foi 20€ por um XL de Winnie the Pooh numa compra que fiz a um membro do pezmania no wallapop.

Onde compras os teus PEZ?
Em lojas online ou de bairro. Online em segunda mão compro nos sites vinted ou wallapop e para edições limitadas costumo usar a loja do Jon, a Caja del cliques. É um site altamente recomendado para colecionadores.

Se fosses dono da PEZ qual/quais seriam os que gostarias de poder criar e que ainda não existem?
Um de The Witcher ou um novo XL do Capitão América, preciso urgentemente de um.

Muitos dos coleccionadores de PEZ colecionam outras coisas. Tu coleccionas mais alguma coisa?
Livros de O Grande Gatsby em vários idiomas (já os tenho em espanhol, francês, inglês, alemão, catalão, português e hindi) ou Capitão América Funko Pop (dos quais me faltam apenas os de 250€ ou mais).

E por último, podes dar um conselho a quem quer iniciar-se neste mundo dos PEZ?
Paciência, colecionar os que realmente gostas ou e ires crescendo porque senão mais tarde será um caos para organizar tudo e ter espaço para arruma-los todos. E claro ter a colecção exposta bem bonitas. Entrar em grupos dedicados aos PEZ também ajuda muito nas nossas colecções e alguns destes grupos são mesmo super recomendados.
